how do you extreme coupon?
So I'm watching this strange show on TLC about extreme couponing... they're taking it to huge extremes and have basements full of like 40 things of deoderant and 120 packages of diapers... but they don't have any kids..! So I'm interested in how these people are buying $400 of groceries with like $10. I mean, you see coupons for like $.50 off an item, how are they getting so much for free??

Haha, I saw those, too!!!
They keep organized and do a TON of math. Plus they have MANY ways to get their coupons, including from friends who saved them, going into the "newspaper only" dumpsters, collecting uncollected newspapers, going online for printable coupons, etc.
And they have to plan the whole thing out and get coupons from reliable sites- Reading reviews for sites and other sources. These people take days and many hours before shopping trips. And they (usually and hopefully) have enough room to store all of the stuff they buy.
Haha, hope this helped!

Jack: I have went to that site and it still doesn't help me. Like that's one of the sites that i was talking about. A little more help would be nice. Thank you tho. But if you do know more about it, then i would totally like to know. Thanks again. (:

Couponers, How do you do it?
After watching Extreme Couping it's come to my attention that I need to coupon. I'm not going to be "Extreme" about it because I just don't need 5billion of one item. So what I want to know is how to coupon and plan meals around coupons. I have two year old twins and our grocery bill is outrageous! I would like to know where to find the best on-line coupons especially for diapers. We have two major stores around our area one, Wal-Mart, which does not double coupons. The other market Homeland, is sometimes 3 times as expensive as Wal-Mart but they do double coupons up to a dollar. To me it seems impossible to get great deals with coupons when the off brand is ofter cheaper even if you have a coupon but I see people doing it all the time. What is the best way to start?

Everyone seems to miss the most important thing on the "FREE" groceries
they all spend 6 hours shopping, spend 40+ hours per week looking for deals,
laying out spreadsheets and hundreds of dollars subscribing to coupon
clipping services, purchasing banded ad inserts from the newspaper
department, emailing companies asking for coupons, rental of trailers,
uhauls, storage units suvs,
if they put zero value on their time then they are completely missing the
point. Saving 500 per month on groceries is nothing if you could have a part
time job paying you 20 grand per year working 20 hours per week. Its like
getting groceries for free plus you get to keep 10 grand in cash having a
real job.
It makes for good tv but they aren't getting groceries for free unless they are considering
their time worthless.
