Something my older brother did for his homecoming, was he bought those glow in the dark stars, and he walked to her house. Then he taped the stars on her wall in the form of the word "Homecoming?" with the help of the girls Mom. But be sure they absorb some light, so leave her light on for a while. Then when she comes home, turn the lights off.
But since she lives far away, why don't you consider something like sending her a letter in the mail with "Homecoming?" on it. But if you don't want her parents to see it, try doing something like sending a picture with you holding a sign with the words of your choice like, "Will you go to homecoming with me?" or something like that. Once a guy found out one of my classes and worked out a plan with my teacher. A few days later i walked into class, sat down and got ready to take notes. As everyone else filed into their desks and class started my teacher turned on the over head and everyone started staring at me. I looked up to find that he creatively wrote on the overhead "WILL YOU GO TO PROM WITH ME?" and his name. I started smiling really big and then my teacher pulled out flowers from behind her desk. I thought it was a really cute way to ask but wasn't too extreme like flying a banner around school. You could also do a scavenger hunt with clues about the dance and who you are.good luck.

He then pulled apart the button up shirt leaving only the homecoming shirt and gave additional things.

Questions About How To Jump Start A Car With Cables

car alarm won't go off when trying to jump start it with jumper cables... no clicker.?

It's a 1997 Toyota Avalon. The battery died and now we're trying to jump start it, but each time we put the jumper cable onto the battery, the car's alarm goes off. We can't find the clicker, although we have the key. This is all I know by listening to the problem, not watching, but if anyone has a suggestion, please let me know how to get the alarm to stop. Thank you.

There is a button that is under the driver side that looks about like a pencil eraser, but black. Get someone to help you. Locate the button it may be near the fuse panel. When the person outside attaches the battery cables turn the switch on and push the button after the switch is on. This will disable the alarm for now. You will need to reset the alarm by pushing the button repeatedly until the light is solid red. With the key on. This will put it in valet mode.

the horn sounds. The engine doesnt even turn over. Is this the car alarm or something else? How can I disable the car alarm? Its a 2004 KIA Spectra LS.

Sounds like you may have tripped the theft deterrent device.....have a mechanic who knows about OBD to erase the code it threw and it should start right up....if not....then you could have a serious electrical problem on your hands....

What Is Wrong Car Won't Start Even With Jump But Lights Come On and Radio Works!!!!!?

I was sitting in my car letting it run while waiting for a friend. The heat was on while I did this. After about an hour of sitting with the heat running I tried to start my car and it wouldn't start. I would turn the key and the lights inside the car would come on. When I open my door the headlights would come on too. They tried jumping my car (the cables looked old and they were confused about the negative and positive side) My car wouldn't even start with the jump. When I turn the key it's just a little spark or switch sound (not loud at all)but the lights come on. Could it be the battery ? The Alternator, or the Starter. How much does each cost to fix ?

Will wire from within a 240V appliance power cable handle a quick jump start from a car to a 12V motorcycle?

I have had an alternator problem on my motorcycle for a while and have had to jump start it now and then. The bike has a 12V system with a gel battery. I decided to attach some insulated wire from the three that are found within 240V appliance cable and run them from the battery to under the back seat so I can charge the battery once a week without having to remove the bike’s panel. This works fine on a 6A or 12A, 12V trickle charge.
When I have jump started the bike (using normal jumper leads from a car that are too bulky to carry on a bike) in the past, the bike has started immediately without having to turn it over for more than a few seconds. Will this wire that I use for charging handle the high amps drawn for a few seconds and is there a way I can test how quickly this wire will heat up? I know the starter motor draws around 80 Amperes when starting the engine.

No it will not handle the amp's, the wire will almost instanly heat up and start to melt. Your 240v wires probly handle 40 or 60 amps at the most. And wont be enough to get your bike to turn over

Why won't my car start after I jump it?

My car will not turn on, the lights wont come on nor will the horn honk its just dead. I got it jumped with jumper cables but it still would not start or have any sign of power. what's wrong with it? and how much will it cost to get it fixed? I have a 93 toyota corolla.

The battery in it may be shorted out,that will cause this to happen,any battery has to accept a charge when your trying to jump it off ,if it doesn't ,the car wont even try to start,you might try changing the battery in it,to see if that gives it any power,other wise you may be looking at an electrical repair on that one,good luck on it hope this helps,and don,t forget to change your air and fuel filters too

It's called the Medicine Men of the Apache by John G. Bourke. Oh!! I know a way!! When you're publishing the audio post, you can just press "make it private" or something similar, and so you can click on that and then it'll still be on your tumblr streampad but the audio post won't be on your blog :)

When I started my diet, I did this thing where for two grams of carbs I ate, I ate one gram of protien. I lost about 5lbs a month on just that, and while it seems little, that's 30lbs in 6 months. Other than that, you seem in good shape. Just don't expect to get tiny over night. There's no way to do that in a month or two.

How can some people put themselves through all these crazy crash diets?

I am amazed at the extremes people will go through to lose weight. Someone answered a question of mine that she was only going to eat fruit and vegetables for a month. I used to work with a woman who was starving herself- only drinking pomegranate juice and eating a few crackers a day to lose weight. And this chick only weighed 115! I don't get it at all! Most of the people doing this are already skinny anyway.

I want to (in my case, actually have to) lose weight just like the next person but I can't imagine going days without eating real food especially if there are healthy choices available.

Please explain this phenomenon to me. I know that American society values pencil thin women but is it really that serious to go through these extremes? I'm trying to understand.

I guess if some of these wome were my size, they would freakin' die.

People always look for the short cut, the fast fix and in doing so they ruin their health. I did a water fast for a week but only lasted six days and get very very sick doing it. I also lost 130 pounds in three months on Stillman's, again, I got very ill. People want to do whatever they have to do as fast as they can do it instead of changing their entire lifestyle which is the only way to lose weight and keep it off.

Unfortunately there is not way to repair your credit score quickly, that's why it's imperitive that you keep up with good credit practices...

I would get a department store credit card and buy something every month, and then pay it off right away....that same day even....doesn't have to be anything big....you just need to establish good payment history.

It will take at least a year of this and no other blemishes on your record to effect your credit score.

How to improve my credit score?

So last year (2009) I was laid off in February, and had just enough in savings to cover my basic expenses (rent, food, insurance) until I started getting unemployment checks in May. So basically, my credit accounts (except for one) when to 60 days past due. I called the CC companies well in advance, explaining the situation, and no one could "help" me until I was at least 30 days over due. At that point (30 days late) called again, but wasn't getting my unemployment check, so had to wait until I was 60 days late. At that point, all my credit accounts offered 0% for six months to 1 year, but the condition was that I had to close my accounts. I agreed, and have paid diligently for the past year, more than was due and early. (My credit went from 710, to 590 almost overnight) I now have a job, and have figured out I can pay my debt off in 1.5 years. But since I have no available balance on my credit cards, my credit score isn't even moving. So, is there a way to get these creditors to reopen my accounts. I don't even care if they just reopen them with the limits that I am at now. My goal is to pay them off, I destroyed all the cards and have little intention of using credit as a crutch ever again. Or do you think I can get a personal loan to consolidate this debt (with a score of 600?)

Why do I care about my score? #1, I also have a side business, that I would like to take full time, but I cannot get a $5000 loan for the technical equipment I need with my credit score. (I've done the numbers, the forecasting, and even have about 30 clients lined up, could pay this off in less than 6 months)
#2 I am looking at purchasing a four plex investment property to gain me $2000/mo cash flow after expenses, but a bank won't even look at me.

Am I stuck in the FICO score abyss for 4-5 years waiting for my credit score to improve, or is there some way I can boost my score 100-130+ in a year? Its not like I was previously irresponsible with my credit, just ran into tough times and was 60 days late, ONCE in a 9 year credit history.

I'm looking for creative ways to improve my score. Waiting around is not an option. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Credit card companies will not reopen a closed account; they will open new accounts. The only thing you can do is start the application process.

Why do you feel it is necessary to start dating so early? Is it a social or status symbol for you? Do you need someone else to improve your self esteem?

Those are not good reasons for a relationship and you'll only end up hurting yourself or someone else.

School should be what is occupying your mind during those years. Take advantage of learning all you can and getting into college with good grades. This economy is rough right now and if the healthcare bill goes through taxes will go up and the economy will only get tougher.

Use this time to develop yourself as a person and lay a foundation for your future.
