Questions About How To Increase Testosterone Levels In Men

Carol asks…

Andropause -- "Male menopause": Men's estrogen levels rise and testosterone levels drop after age 40? Thoughts?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cm5inkRIKI4&feature=channel_page

What do you think about this? Wait til 2:00, that's the good part, where he touches on feminism.

During menopause, women's estrogen levels drop and their testosterone levels rise -- that's why women in their 40's begin to have an increase of facial hair and body hair, and hair starts to thin in their scalps.

So, when I turn 40, and my estrogen levels rise, will my voice get higher pitched? Will I start eating chocolate ice cream out of the pint, while watching Oprah and talking on the phone twirling on the cord and kicking my leg up in the air? Will I start to complain & whine more? Will I go on G&WS and bash men?

What exactly are the effects of male menopause?

The second half of the video, the doctor gives advice on how we should prevent this. Simply put, like most things in life -- nutrition and exercise. We can prevent the rise in estrogen and keep our testosterone levels high if we follow his steps. I will definitely heed to his advice. Heaven forbid I become estrogen-laden and end up like some of the women on this forum.

You know some doctors say if a guy touches a baby his testosterone drops. I don't know if it's true though.

I don't think you have anything to worry about. I don't think your the type of dude that would become girly all of a sudden.

And lay off the leg kicking thing I love to do that! And chocolate! I love chocolate! LOL!!!!

Just do the things that doctor said for you to do you will be fine.

Maria asks…

Is increased testosterone the reason for Male baldness and if so dose that make them more fertile?

I have a bf who is losing his hair at the young age of 24 what I was wondering is, if this is caused by increased testosterone levels and if it is then will this increase his fertility. Its my understanding that testosterone is the hormone that makes a mans voice deep, increases muscle mass and is partly responsible for a males dominant behavior. He doesn't fit that description all that well, he has little muscle and hasn't got a very deep voice, he also doesn't display as much dominant behavior as most males I know. I am not referring to aggression. How can his Testosterone levels be higher than the norm if those things are not present? BTW I am not at all looking for a cure, I like him regardless of his packaging :D lol. I am curious and I know some men can be self conscience of balding so I never want to bring it up with him in case he mistakes my curiosity for something else.

admin answers:

Here's how you do it!
Your testosterone levels could be increased by perfectly natural means and you do not have to take hormone injections.
No drugs would be necessary to achieve the satisfactory result. The men with low levels of testosterone have found an incredible boost with natural products.
A boost to testosterone levels would increase the sexual potentials of a man. A man suffering from low Male Hormone levels could get a relief from herbs that enhance his testosterone levels. It is now possible to boost testosterone levels without side effects.
A useful suggestion from the experts is that you should use the testosterone supplements by rotation as the use of a single product for a prolonged period would not produce the desired effects.

Betty asks…

How to attract a guy with your own body scent?

According to a website on hormones:
"Copulins are exclusively a female group of pheromones. They are secreted into the vagina at optimum ratios during ovulation with the aim of encouraging men to desire to copulate. This group of pheromones primarily consists of fatty acids that would serve little to no function on there own, but in combination they have been shown to increase testosterone levels in men by 150%…This increase in testosterone may cause feelings of arousal in men, if a woman is present. It is said that once a man smells Copulins on a woman she is deemed to be more attractive."

Apparently it is common for prostitutes to use their own vaginal secretions as perfume to attract clients
Have you ever tried it and does it work? [ for us non-professionals ]

How to lower testosterone in women while increasing estrogen naturally?

For all the little retards out there, understand that both men and women have testosterone and estrogen. It is proven, men have more of one while women have more of the other. I went to the doctor because even though i'm still a virgin, I am starting to only have my periods once every three months without taking pills. The doctors told me that my periods skipping is a result of haveing high testosterone level but they did not give me any remedies of how to lower them. There just going to allow me to have abnormal period. I feel that if I can lower testosterone and increase my estrogen level I can regulate my period again.

admin answers:

I don't know if you can lower testosterone yourself but soy products contain estrogen so that might help with that.
Im not sure why your doctor didn't prescribe a contraceptive pill to balance your hormones. I would suggest finding a doctor who specializes in women's health and will help you to find a balance. Don't leave it as it will cause other embarrassing problems such as excess hair growth (hirtuism) and sometimes acne.

Questions About How To Increase Testosterone Levels Naturally

Susan asks…

How can I increase my testosterone levels naturally?

I lift weights and need to know how to increase test levels help me please

admin answers:

Getting your shit together as a MALE:

What is your life? What is it? What do you do? Who have you become?

You go sit on a pad all day and type keys, or you sit on a telephone all day. You eat a lunch of fried potatoes and seaweed flavored like beef wrapped in enriched whole flour.

What scares you daily as cavemen were?

You jerk off to other people having sex on a screen. You go to the doctor if you find a mole you didn't see before and worry for a week. You want women you are told to want, not what you lust for and most desire. You worry what other people think of you in petty matters. You wonder if you punched someone in the face if they'd just stand there and laugh at you?

This does not make for testosterone production or masculine behavior.

These are not male behaviors.

This is not the lifestyle of a natural man. Cavemen in no way engaged in the above behaviors.

Now I'm not going to tell you to quit your job, run off to the mountains and hunt your food with a spear. Though a month of that could do you wonders I guarantee.

Instead LIFT WEIGHTS. Heavy weights. Labor and use of your body, release of endorphins and effects on testosterone, insulin, masculinity and too much to go in to here is DIRE. You could take testosterone injections and end up with t.its but working the WHOLE body will increase it naturally.

People are not meant to be sedentary. The last 50 years advances in labor saving machines and economic growth have taken a major toll on most men as natural masculine males. You do not have to build a ton of muscle or workout 5 days a week. Just LIFT SOMETHING other than bags of groceries and do it regularly this will increase testosterone. Lifting weights will not make you a masculine macho man right off the bat by any means. This will at least start on your way to getting the chemicals in your body on the right track for a more masculine behavior base however.

Eat right. This isn't possible for most. But drink plenty of water and give an effort to lay off the white stuff though. Breads, pastas, rice, sugar and enriched flour are not natural for our system. Eating enjoyable foods will also make you more vigorous.

This isn't some crackpot idea, the science backs it up that not eating these things will increase testosterone and natural balances in the body. So really they more restore them to NORMAL. Normal being when men were men, not overfed veal.

Take a risk man. Not even a REAL risk is needed, just get that ticker going now and again.

Get in a martial art where you will compete with other men or even have a game of hardcore rugby (more dangerous but just as good), or hell if you want go fight club and start fighting your buddies in the back yard. Go sky diving, bungee jumping, go on a roller coaster, and go camping alone in the woods.

These kinds of things as well increase testosterone, fear creates it at biological and psychological levels, again too much to go in to at a chemical and psychological level.

Even better is that they have an immediate effect on your sense of self-being a man not a boy, an adventurer or warrior not a "technical support" or "student" guy.

Quit masturbating all the time. Masturbating to porn was by far not natural or normal, common everyday male behavior up until 20 years ago or less. It still is not natural. Lack of orgasm tells your body it isn't mating, this causes increased testosterone levels to make you more aggressive in finding a mate. An orgasm with a woman on the other hand INCREASES testosterone levels from the excitement.

Lots of big compound movements like deadlifts, squats AND/OR powerlifting movements will boost your testosterone levels. Also, boost the intake of good fats in your diet - flax seed oil, udo's choice oils, raw milk, eggs(cooked or raw[you will have to work up to this little by little.]) And if you haven't already, try to hit puberty again. :) Wish I could.

Laura asks…

Increase Testosterone levels/Facial hair, non prescription please?

Hey guys, well I've just turned 20, and my facial hair is a joke. It's still very thin. The hair goes about half way down my jaw for the side burns, my neck has some very light amount of hair, concentrated mostly under the mouth, and my chin and moustache look like they belong on a 15 year old. My problem is that the hair isn't dense/thick enough. I do have to shave on pretty much a daily basis so it doesn't grow out in a disgusting way, so the rate of growth isnt much of a problem.

I went to see the GP, and I asked for a testosterone test, which he only agreed to after I kept badgering him for it for about 15 minutes. My testosterone levels we exactly 10, I can't remember what the units were. The minimum was 9.2 and the maximum was 40. I went back to discuss it with him and he claims that this is perfectly fine, and my argument was A) its borderline low, B) I'm pretty much at my hormonal peak right now, so doesnt that mean this will be an issue a few years down the line if we dont treat it now. C) I want fricken facial hair. His answer was A) its still not below the limit B) My body just cant tolerate large amounts of testosterone, therefore it keeps it at low levels, therefore we cannot try to force the body into another state C) I'll just have to wait.

I've been reading up online on how to increase my testosterone levels naturally since my GP's an ass, and other than sleep, weight lifting and vitamins, there doesnt seem to be much else.

I was wondering if anyone could recommend any supplements/ over the counter pills/injections that I can take, anything from steroids to creams, I'm willing to give it a shot. Anything non prescription is preferred since my GP has pretty much blacklisted anything prescription on my medical records. Any other suggestion are also welcome.

Many Thanks :D

admin answers:

You can take what are called pro-hormones, they're a borderline legal alternative to steroids. It seems you're in the UK though, I'm from the states so it might be illegal over there.

Pro-hormones have nasty side effects though, like causing your body to stop producing its own testosterone. That's a consequence of any hormone supplement however.

Overall, it's really not worth it to boost your testosterone, and your doc is right. Facial hair is overrated anyway. Just be thankful you're healthy. Getting off of hormone replacements you do yourself really mess up your body, you can read up on it if you want to. Just work out and eat well your doctor isn't trying to steer you wrongly.
