I have a lot of fan pages , but I have managed to hide them on my computer. Problem is that Facebook Mobile keeps on showing all the fan page's status updates and not my friend's statuses! Does anybody know how to disable this?

how to hide messages from pages I've "liked" in facebook mobile app newsfeed?

I went through my profile and added some music and other items that I like as well as having clicked "like" on various pages. Now my mobile app newsfeed is so clogged with messages from those various pages that I can barely find the messages I care about from my friends. I tried going to my PC side of facebook and I don't see those in the newsfeed there so I can't just hide them in that way. The only way I can seem to get ride of them is to unlike them all together. Is that the only way?
that's the thing I've looked on my computer newsfeed and don't see them there for some reason.
apparently the newsfeed was showing top news which didn't include the ones I was looking for. I switched to most recent and then I saw a bunch of them.

Your going to have to hide there posts from the computer thats the only way when it appears on the computer version of facebook either that or you have to unlike the page

i have the normal facebook mobile on my mobile and when i open it and get status updates from a lot of fan pages i have become a fan of now is there a way to hide them so i can only see my friend status

I'm not sure you can do this, unless you remove yourself from thefan page or hide their updates from showing up on your wall.
Fan pages updates come up exactly like a friends status would.

So just hide it by physically going on a computer, hovering over the right corner of the update, click hide.
It will say "Hide page name" and "Cancel"
Click the hide page, and you should be good to go.

Hi, you go to your privacy settings and choose edit and by wall where it says everybody in a drop down box choose no one. Then your wall will be hidden from even you so that it won't show up on your profile and no one can post on it. If you do want your wall back you just have to go back and change the settings to who you want to see it and all your wall posts will be saved.

Umm i dont believe their is a way, thats the point of having a facebook wall so you know what everyone is doing or thinking, otherwise you can hide them in the wall.

Yes. You can use a tool called Exfoliate, available for Android phones, to automatically delete all old posts and comments you've made on your wall and on any of your friends' wall. You can specify the age of the content to delete. The developer says an iPhone version is coming very soon.

I don't think you can, it's another feature that facebook thinks is "cool" but it's actually really irritating. I mean why fix something that's not broken. If you want to delete the status you can click on the thumbs up or comments icon, and then press the x on the page in takes you to.

How can I delete my facebook status and post's history?

I have facebook statues dating back to February 2008 that I don't want my girlfriend to see, they are quite embarrassing and if she read them I think she'd end it with me.

I go on a two week vacation later tonight and do not have access to facebook in work all day until 5 or 10 minutes at home tonight.

I need to remove these quickly. My laptop and internet are not even close enough to deleting all I require.

I had the same problem with my blackberry, I just tried going on the internet browser instead of the app and looked at my status that I had written. Sure enough, there was the delete button.
