admin answers:
You submit fresh PP form with current details.
Don't forget to mention file no and ref.no.
Next keep sending reminders.
Or
convert your application to a TATKAL by paying requisite fee.
No need to worry.
"i was now away from college and pursuing my PG at PUNJAB" what does it mean?

How to I get the cheapest passport the fastest?
Hi and thanks in advance for your replies. I live Vancouver, WA. just across the Columbia River from Portland Oregon. We want to go on a cruise this summer and we need passports. What is the cheapest and fastest way to get a passport?
When I asked at the post office they said 4-6 weeks and a lot more money to get it quicker. Plus we would have to show proof of need, vacation schedule and so on.
Thanks again for your help.
admin answers:
No one has to show proof of need for a passport application. This may only be required if you apply for expedited service through a Regional Passport Office.
You can get your passport book for a fee of $100 within 4-6 weeks. The passport card, which enables land and sea travel to Canada, Mexico or the Caribbean is $45.00. The applications can be made at the main US Post Office or the Downtown Stations Post Office (1211 Daniels St.)

For a closed-loop cruise to Canada or Mexico with the same U.S. Port of arrival and departure you don't need a passport. Birth certificate and proof of ID (Driver's license or State ID) will suffice.
Cruise-ship companies however recommend to hold a valid passport book in case of an emergency requiring you to terminate the cruise earlier and get back home on a flight.

There are a number of guidelines you have to follow in order for your passport picture to be legal: * 2x2 inches in size
* Identical
* Taken within the past 6 months, showing current appearance
* Must be color photos
* Full face, front view with a plain white or off-white background
* Between 1 inch and 1 3/8 inches from the bottom of the chin to the top of the head
* Taken in normal street attire
* Uniforms should not be worn in photographs. If wearing headcovering daily for religious or medical reasons include a statement explaining that.
* Do not wear a hat or headgear that obscures the hair or hairline.
* If you normally wear prescription glasses, a hearing device, wig or similar articles, they should be worn for your picture.
* Dark glasses or nonprescription glasses with tinted lenses are not acceptable unless you need them for medical reasons. A medical certificate may be required.
Otherwise, you can go to a AAA, Sears, or a Fedex-Kinkos, they should be able to take the picture for you.

Your best bet is to have your Mum seek the advice from her divorce solicitor/lawyer.
There is a procedure which your Mum must follow before you can obtain a passport.
Good luck.
